What is wholesale order fulfillment?
Wholesale order fulfillment is picking, packing, and shipping bulk orders to retailers, dealers, and business locations, packed to each buyer's rules for cases, labels, and paperwork rather than as single parcels to consumers. At MakeMine it runs from our Charlotte, NC fulfillment center, from the same inventory as your DTC orders, starting at $1.30 to $2.00 per unit.
Three kinds of wholesale orders we ship
Wholesale at MakeMine covers three kinds of orders: retail doors and team dealers, multi-location programs, and bulk transfers to your own warehouse.
Retail doors and team dealers
Orders for stores, youth sports programs, and team dealers ship as case packs built to the buyer's size ratio, labeled and routed the way each retailer's routing guide says. We send the advance ship notice (ASN), the electronic heads-up a retailer expects before the delivery arrives, and pack the paperwork each one asks for.
Multi-location programs
From one stock in Charlotte, we ship to every location in your program: launch kits when a location opens or a program starts, and replenishment as locations sell through. Rates are volume-tiered, so the per-unit rate steps down as your location count and volume grow.
Bulk transfers to your warehouse
Some stock needs to move in bulk rather than order by order, to your own warehouse or storage. We pack and ship those transfers by the case, from the same inventory as everything else.
Retailer compliance, and where chargebacks come from
Most retailer chargebacks come from labeling and paperwork rather than late delivery: a wrong carton label, a missing barcode, or a routing rule that wasn't followed.
So the work that prevents them happens before the truck. We help you set up GS1 barcodes, and on anything we manufacture the labels go on at the factory. We build each retailer's packing list, follow its routing guide, and pack cases the way it asks.
EDI, the electronic system most large retailers use to send purchase orders and receive shipping notices, is supported and integrated with ShipHero, our warehouse system.
One inventory pool for wholesale and DTC
Wholesale and DTC orders ship from the same stock at MakeMine, held in one inventory count in ShipHero.
You don't split inventory between a wholesale warehouse and a DTC warehouse, or guess how much to hold back for a retailer. A case pack for a store and a single order from your Shopify site draw from the same count, and we count your stock on a set schedule and send you the numbers.
Kitting for launches and promo drops
Kitting at MakeMine builds multi-item custom boxes with inserts, at $0.50 per unit, for launch kits, gift boxes, promo drops, and multi-location programs.
When a program opens new locations or a promotion goes out to every store at once, each kit ships from the same stock as the rest of your orders.
Wholesale fulfillment pricing

What our fulfillment clients say
“We went through four different fulfillment companies and put everything against each other in a spreadsheet. MakeMine was heads and shoulders above, and the level of communication is why we moved.”
Built for brands selling to retailers and locations
MakeMine wholesale fulfillment is for brands with retail accounts, team dealers, or multi-location programs, and steady volume to ship to them.
You talk to the people who receive, pick, and ship your orders, not a sales rep. If your volume is too low for a 3PL to make sense yet, we'll tell you before you sign, not after the first invoice.

Frequently asked questions
Can you ship to 200+ locations?
Yes. A national golf brand ships to more than 500 locations from our Charlotte fulfillment center. Launch kits, replenishment, and case packs all ship from the same stock, and rates are volume-tiered as the location count grows.
Do you support EDI?
Yes. It's integrated with ShipHero, our warehouse system, and retailer orders ship from the same stock as your online orders.
What is the wholesale pick and pack rate?
Wholesale pick and pack starts at $1.30 to $2.00 per unit, and rates are volume-tiered, so they step down as your volume grows. Receiving is free on anything we manufacture and $0.50 per unit otherwise, and shipping is billed at carrier cost.
Can wholesale and DTC share inventory?
Yes. Both ship from one inventory count in ShipHero, so a store's case pack and a single online order draw from the same stock.
Do you build launch kits?
Yes. We build multi-item custom boxes with inserts for launch kits, gift boxes, promo drops, and multi-location programs, at $0.50 per unit.
Send us your retailers and locations. We'll send back rates.
Tell us who you ship to, how many locations, and how often. You'll hear back from the people who'll pack your cases, not a salesperson.
